DIY New Year's tree from tree branches: master class, step-by-step description, ideas and recommendations. DIY winter tree: options, instructions DIY paper trees in winter

Penguins, snowmen, snowflakes, clouds with snow, landscapes and Santa Claus are waiting for you. How to make winter crafts for kindergarten?

If you choose the most relevant winter images, then your work will be much more interesting, and winter will seem not such a harsh and boring time of year.

You can also devote a themed activity in kindergarten to creating winter images. It will be more expedient for him to choose crafts that can subsequently form a single composition.

Winter craft “mittens” for kindergarten

The simplest version of the “mitten” craft is applique. We cut the mitten according to the child’s hand. We decorate it with buttons and cotton wool trim.

Mitten applique

The mitten applique can be made from felt. If you attach a thread to it, then we will get an original Christmas tree decoration.

Felt mitten applique

In the form of a mitten, you get a very beautiful winter card. May everyone have happiness this winter!

Santa Claus's magic mitten can be made from salt dough. Detailed master class on video:

Be sure to add a warm hat to your winter mittens set. You can decorate it with cotton balls, pompoms or stickers with your favorite characters.

Winter craft “cloud with snow”

As an option for decorating a window, an unusual winter pendant is suitable: for example, in the form of a snow cloud and large falling snowflakes. Both the cloud and the snowflakes are made from cotton balls: by pinching off pieces of cotton wool, we compact them tightly into a fist until the fist is full. Having opened it, we get neat cotton balls. We glue some of it onto the cardboard outline of the cloud, and string some of it on a thread. We fasten the threads with snowflakes on the cloud - you're done!

Openwork snowflakes made of white paper look original on pendants.

The pendant can also be placed on the wall in a suitable place - for example, in a corner where a future exhibition of winter exhibits is being prepared.

Look at the video on how to make a fabulous “winter window” craft:

Winter craft “snowman”

The most popular winter exhibit will, of course, be. It can be created from a variety of materials. For example, by filling half a transparent plastic bottle with cotton balls, we get the head of a snowman. Let's glue on toy eyes, a felt triangular carrot nose, draw out the contours of the mouth with black circles and coals - and now the face is ready. Let's put a hat made of a warm white sock and a felt scarf on his head - and our snowman is ready to take a place at the exhibition.

Snowmen made from cardboard toilet paper rolls are suitable as table souvenirs. Let's paint them white, glue on buttons, toy eyes and small felt noses - carrots, tie scarves from braid - and now the snowmen take on a characteristic appearance. The highlight for them will be hats - headphones made of fluffy pom-poms and pieces of chenille (fluffy) wire.

Snowmen made from cardboard rolls look very interesting.

With a few popcorn cups and disposable plastic spoons, you can make a whole family of snowmen.

You can make snowmen in a more traditional way - for example, in the form of applique. A beautiful applique can be made from ordinary cotton pads.

Snowman applique made from cotton pads

Use cotton balls and pieces of felt for your work - and the applique will turn out original and interesting.

The applique can be supplemented with glue snowflakes.

You can make a beautiful three-dimensional snowman from cotton wool and transparent cells for the testicles. Cut three sections from the transparent testicle tray. We make two such blanks. Glue them together, filling the gap between them with cotton wool. Glue on the hat, scarf, buttons and stick handles. We will get a very original winter decoration.

If you still have unpaired white socks, make a snowman out of them. We stuff the sock with rice and tie it at the top. We tie the sock in the middle part and close the elastic band with a scarf ribbon. We make a hat for a snowman from a blue sock.

A snowman can be made from colored paper and disposable plates.

A charming Christmas tree decoration “snowman” is made from an ordinary light bulb. We paint the light bulb, glue twig handles and a ribbon bow onto it.

You can make a snowman from plasticine.

A real winter picture of a “family of snowmen” comes from white gloves. We cut out the fingers from the gloves and glue them to the main background - we will get little snowmen. We decorate snowmen with ribbons - scarves. Glue on the eyes and noses.

You can make very beautiful snowmen from plastic bottles to decorate the kindergarten premises. These snowmen-lamp are illuminated using a garland.

Winter sports crafts. Pieces of cotton wool can be used to lay out the base for any craft - for example, an impromptu skating rink. Add a couple of paper Christmas trees and a paper figure skater girl to it - and you’ll get a complete winter composition.

A very natural skating rink can be made from foil and cotton wool.

Paper and wooden popsicle sticks make adorable ice skates.

Craft “skates”

Winter craft "penguin"

No less popular than the snowman, another winter character is the penguin. A penguin can be made from egg cartons.

A cute soft penguin can be made using the applique technique using paper and cotton wool.

Winter applique "penguin"

An adorable little penguin can be made from a painted walnut.

From a paper plate you can make a craft in the form of a sports cap with a pompom. We cut off half of the plate, decorate it with snowflakes and other suitable ornaments, and form a pompom from cotton balls - ready!

Winter craft “Polar Bear”

One of my favorite winter crafts is a polar bear. A funny white bear is made from threads wound on a cardboard sleeve.

An original way to make a polar bear is to make it from pompoms.

Skilled needlewomen can sew a beautiful polar bear. How to do this, watch the video:

Winter crafts from pine cones

An interesting winter craft - a skier made from a pine cone. To make it, we will need a pine cone painted white, pieces of felt from which we will make mittens, a scarf and a hat, as well as a felt ball (can be replaced with foam, wood or made of any other material).

A glued cardboard cone becomes a good basis for a winter beauty - a Christmas tree.

A very bright, cozy craft - a New Year's basket made of pine cones.

DIY winter Christmas tree craft

A very beautiful Christmas tree is made from foamiran. To make such a Christmas tree, cut the foamiran into strips and make cuts along one edge. We heat the strips on the iron - they will bend slightly. We glue the curved strips onto the cardboard cone using a glue gun.

The Christmas tree can be made from ribbons or organza. The result will be a very impressive winter craft.

You can sew a charming winter Christmas tree from felt.

You can glue green pasta onto a cardboard cone. We decorate the ends with sparkles and glue on bells and ribbon bows. We will get a very original New Year tree.

A very beautiful winter souvenir is a topiary herringbone. This craft is based on foam plastic, which we wrap in foil and pierce with copper wire. Wrap the cone in yarn and decorate with beads. We glue two strips of double-sided tape to the cone - it will fix the threads.

Winter craft “herringbone topiary”

Winter crafts snowflakes

Very interesting snowflakes are made from thin strips of plasticine.

A very beautiful and delicate snowflake can be made using a glue gun. We will need a snowflake pattern on paper on which we will apply hot glue. When the glue hardens, we will paint the snowflake white and sprinkle it with glitter.

A very beautiful New Year's snowflake can be glued from pasta. The snowflake is painted white and sprinkled with semolina.

A delicate winter craft of amazing beauty is a ballerina snowflake. We cut out an ordinary snowflake from paper and put it on the paper silhouette of a ballerina. We tie a thread to the ballerina's handle and hang an elegant winter decoration on a chandelier, Christmas tree or window.

Watch the video on how to make a 3D paper snowflake:

If you want to bring a little magic to your room, then ordinary paper snowflakes make a lovely New Year's pattern for the window.

Another craft that will surely come in handy in winter is a Christmas angel. Such an angel can be easily made from an openwork napkin or just beautiful white paper. We make the head from a bead.

Winter craft “Bullfinch”

One of the most favorite winter crafts is the bullfinch bird. The bullfinch stays with us during the harsh winter and inspires us with its bright plumage. The easiest way to make a beautiful bullfinch is using the applique technique.

Winter houses and cities

You can make a very effective composition on the theme of winter. All elements of the composition are mounted on a cardboard base. The house is made from milk cartons. Figures made of papier-mâché and cotton wool.

Winter drawings for kindergarten

The most popular winter design is snowflakes.

Winter snowflake pattern

Drawings using unusual techniques are the perfect idea for winter crafts. For example, children really like to draw pictures with white crayons and then show the contours with watercolors. This way you can create winter landscapes or characters - for example, snowmen. Winter landscapes made in chalk and developed in watercolor turn out to be very beautiful.

Surely many people will want to draw the magical beauty of winter!

We draw snowfall with splashes.

A handsome bullfinch can be drawn on a winter landscape or postcard.

Drawing "Bullfinch"

We carefully draw all the details of the bird and rowan berries.

By implementing several of the listed ideas, it’s easy to turn any room into a real winter kingdom.

Without a Christmas tree in the house, it loses its magic and appeal. It’s a whole ritual to bring home a festive tree, decorate it with toys and bright lights. Don’t despair if you don’t have the funds or space for a large spruce. You can make a beautiful holiday tree with your own hands from tree branches, which will be no worse than the real thing. This New Year's accessory can decorate a kitchen table, workplace, or become a gift souvenir.

What branches are suitable for crafts?

It is best to collect branches in early spring or autumn. Pay attention to appearance. The sticks must be free of mold and signs of damage by bugs. As soon as you bring the twigs home, they should be processed before handicraft. If necessary, wash and then dry. Wet sticks are not recommended. Otherwise, a tree made with your own hands from tree branches will warp in the first month.

You need to dry it at room temperature for a couple of weeks. You can speed up the process (up to seven days) using a battery. The fastest way is to dry it in the oven for several hours. Just do this with the door ajar and on low heat so that the moisture evaporates. If you want to make a tree for more than one season, then be sure to treat the branches with any varnish.

Natural materials for wood

Of course, you can buy ready-made material in the store. But why pay for something you can collect yourself in the forest or park? So take your kids or your other half with you and feel free to go into nature!

Without hesitation, select dry sticks, spruce branches and cones of different shapes and sizes. They will definitely come in handy to make crafts from tree branches with your own hands. Also, bark, sections of trunks, decorative pieces of roots, vines and clean sand can be useful for making the composition.

Even if you don’t know how you will use this or that find, take it with you anyway. Already at home you will understand how to use it. It's never too late to throw away unnecessary material. Tangerines, bunches of rowan or viburnum, and dried flowers will be useful in a New Year's tree. You can experiment with live indoor plants in pots.

What else is useful for crafts?

You can use absolutely everything that is in the house. The main thing is that the design solution is appropriate. To make decor from tree branches with your own hands, you will need streamers, tinsel, rain, Christmas balls, colorful ribbons, threads, artificial flowers, and even small children's toys. All these decorations can be attached using glue, plasticine, nails and needle holders.

The base for the tree will be metal trays and pallets, pieces of foam plastic, floral sponge, frames made of rods or wire, glass and ceramic vases. If you decide to add color to the craft, it is better to use gold, silver or white paint. Just remember that it should only complement the appearance of the winter tree. Therefore, the main thing here is not to overdo it.

Have a good rummage through your bins, because you can decorate a tree you made with your own hands from tree branches with all sorts of cute little things.

A combination of New Year's balls (or large beads) with fresh or artificial flowers looks very good on a winter tree. Gather branches or pine paws into a bundle and secure it to the base. Decorate the tree with flowers on top and beads around and below. Just place them not in straight lines, but in waves.

When you decorate a tree with Christmas balls, remember one thing. They should be the same color, but different sizes. Or, on the contrary, take balls of the same size, but different in shades. At the top, randomly spread some silver threads or rain. This way, the compositions you make from tree branches with your own hands will look harmonious.

It will be very cool if you make two of these crafts and place them on either side of the TV. Watching New Year's films will become even more exciting and interesting. And most importantly, a festive mood will appear.

It is not necessary to make trees; you can make small compositions from twigs. They will look just as good on a dining table or chest of drawers. Take baskets, decorate them with twigs, spruce legs, cones and bunches of viburnum. Place them in all rooms, and every corner of the house will feel like a holiday.

DIY snow tree

From tree branches you can make a beautiful composition, wrapped in snow. To do this you will need the following materials.

  • twigs;
  • foil;
  • white napkins;
  • wire;
  • glue;
  • scissors.

The wood must already be processed: washed and dried. Gather the prepared branches into a bundle and tie with wire. Place in a basket or vase.

Cut the napkins into approximately four pieces. Fold the resulting strips in half along the long side. Now cut the foil. The width of the pieces should be half the width of the paper strips. Place the foil into the paper.

Cut the strips lengthwise a couple of centimeters to create a fringe, and then unfold. Glue the ends to the tops of the branches and begin to wind them in a spiral. Also camouflage the trunk. The craft is ready! Even a child can easily make a tree from branches with his own hands in this simple way.

Another winter tree option

In this case, you will need slightly different materials:

  • twigs;
  • Styrofoam;
  • glue;
  • rope;
  • vase.

Tie the collected rods together and form a tree. Crumble the foam by hand or grate it using a grater. Dip the branches in glue, remove excess.

Now sprinkle the crumbled foam on top of the craft. Do this until you achieve the desired result. Place the tree in a vase and decorate with toys.

Painting the Christmas tree

Cover the branches with silver or white paint and leave to dry in a vertical position. They can be stuck into polystyrene foam, a pot of soil, or a flowerpot filled with newspapers. You can leave the Christmas tree you made from branches with your own hands there or transfer it to another suitable base.

Styrofoam, soil or newspapers will not look very festive. Cover them with cotton wool, sisal, artificial snow or other material.

Decorate the tree. Beads, Christmas balls, and garlands with small light bulbs will look best on painted crafts. If you want a more modern and uncluttered option, then sew cute birds, stars, hearts or triangles on eyelets. Eco-design would also be appropriate. Just paint pine cones, ranetkas or bunches of rowan in the color of the tree and hang them on the branches.

Gift tangerine tree

You can make crafts from tree branches in the form of a topiary with your own hands. The New Year's version will look good with tangerines. You can take both real and artificial fruits.

Prepare materials: fruit, beautifully curved branches, linen or jute rope, wire, flower pot, floral sponge or polystyrene foam, mistletoe or spruce branches, leaves, glue, artificial snow (crushed polystyrene foam), knife.

Wrap the fruit with a rope crosswise, securing a piece of wire in parallel.

Lubricate spruce branches with glue and dip them in artificial snow. From a floral sponge or polystyrene foam, cut out a base that will fit in the pot. Secure the branches in it well so that they do not dangle. Tie the tangerines to the tree, starting from the bottom. Don't forget to hold the fruits together. Decorate the pot with spruce branches and tangerines with leaves.

DIY Christmas tree made from tree branches

Make the prepared branches with a jigsaw or by hand to different lengths. That is, each next one should be less than the previous one by about three centimeters. The number of branches depends on the size of the future tree.

On the cut, step back half a centimeter from each edge and make small holes through which the rope can pass. Do this with all the branches.

Take a long enough rope (jute or linen) and divide it into two parts. Secure the middle with a nail so that it does not move during the process.

Secure one half of the rope into the hole at the edge of the branch. Tie a larger piece to it. And so on until you reach the longest branch. Do the same with the other edges of the cuts.

Making a Christmas tree from tree branches with your own hands is very quick. Hang it on the wall or secure it in a pot. Decorate with Christmas balls, garland or snowflakes. Place a star on the top, which can also be made from branches or a piece of wood.

New Year's trees do not have to be made according to any standard. The presented master classes only give ideas for creativity. Therefore, fantasize and surprise your guests with your exclusive compositions.

We invite you to get creative and return a little to childhood, when any fluff is a ballerina, any box is a house, and any leaf is something magical and unusual. In childhood, imagination is very well developed. It’s better to make crafts on the theme of winter with your own hands for kindergarten together with your little ones. Children can suggest and come up with a lot, but the technical side of the issue is up to adults. Further in the article you will find descriptions of winter-themed crafts that you made yourself for kindergarten and many ideas and tips. All that remains is to set aside an evening and start creating magic together with your favorite little ones!

We associate winter with snow, snowflakes, snowdrifts and, of course, Happy New Year. Crafts for a competition or exhibition for a kindergarten on the theme of winter, which can be easily done with your own hands, should reflect these ideas. Based on this, we will select ideas and material for their implementation.

You can make a panel or a drawing. But this may not be a simple drawing, but made using an interesting technique. Here's what you can use to fill a canvas for a drawing or a panel on the theme of winter:

  1. Semolina drawing.
  2. Application made from cotton pads.
  3. Application made of cotton wool.
  4. Drawing from white crushed eggshell.
  5. Drawing with sugar.

All these types of designs and applications involve gluing ingredients onto a base with a pattern applied with glue.

New Year's installations are a favorite type of creativity for kids. For it, you can take an empty unnecessary box and cut off 2 walls from it. There will be a floor with two walls at an angle. This will be the basis for an amazing fairy-tale landscape or scene. Snow can be made from cotton wool, houses and trees can be made from cotton swabs or newspapers rolled into a tube, painted with brown paint, or original logs. Further in the article a master class of one of these installations will be given.

Do-it-yourself winter-themed crafts for kindergarten can be made from paper or empty plastic bottles, from burnt out light bulbs, and generally from anything you find at home. Next, consider a penguin made from an empty plastic bottle and dogs made from light bulbs.

You can also make crafts on the theme of winter for kindergarten with your own hands from threads; photos of such crafts with descriptions are further in the article.

Craft “Winter's Tale”

And now we suggest looking at a photo and a detailed description of how to make some crafts on the theme of winter with your own hands for kindergarten.

We make things from what we have at home

We suggest using for crafts everything that is unnecessary in the house, for example, a burnt out light bulb. If there is a big paw, that’s very good. Let's turn her into a real New Year's penguin. What is needed for such magic:

  • burnt out light bulb (preferably larger);
  • acrylic paints or gouache and brushes;
  • some firth or cloth in black, red and white;
  • ribbon;
  • glue (use a heat gun if possible).

So let's begin:

  1. Paint the entire light bulb white and let it dry thoroughly.
  2. With a pencil we draw the front part: the face and belly, which will remain white, the rest is painted black, except for the place where the light bulb is screwed into the socket. We paint this place with red paint. Let it dry.
  3. Draw the eyes and beak and let dry.
  4. We cut out oval wings from black felt or thick fabric and glue them on both sides.
  5. Cut out a red rectangle for the scarf and cut the ends, tie the scarf.
  6. We attach a ribbon to the top of the head and cover it with a strip of white felt or fabric on top. You can attach a pompom to the top of your head.

The funny penguin is ready.

Penguin from a plastic bottle

Now let's see how to make a penguin or Santa Claus from a plastic bottle. The scheme is very similar and simple. For this craft you will need 2 empty identical bottles. We cut off only the bottom from one, and cut the second in half and glue the bottom of the first eggplant to it with tape or glue. It turned out to be such a block.

Now we paint it white and let it dry. Then, in the same way as with the light bulb, we draw the contours of the front part for the penguin or the face if we are making Santa Claus. We leave them white, paint the rest either black (for the penguin) or red (for Santa Claus). Then we draw the face and draw other necessary details. We put on a cap and a scarf, if we made Santa Claus, then we glue on a beard from cotton wool or felt. These are some interesting crafts you can make with your children from unnecessary things.

Panel “Snowman made of cotton pads”

What is winter without a snowman! Children love to build snowmen in the yards and poke around in the snow, rolling lumps for him. But they will also really like making such a winter hero at home from scrap materials. What is needed for the creative process:

  • thick cardboard for the base, light blue or dark blue;
  • cotton pads;
  • colored paper or thin felt;
  • White paper;
  • paints and brush;
  • scissors;
  • PVA glue.

Let's start building a snowman:

  1. First, let's create a landscape around us. Cut out 2 colored rectangles from felt or paper and glue them onto cardboard. Cut out a brown tree trunk and glue it on.
  2. We glue snow roofs on houses or half a cotton pad. We make the base of the snowman from two cotton pads. Glue on the snowman a cap made of felt or colored paper and a scarf.
  3. We glue the discs as snowdrifts and snow on tree branches.
  4. Cut out small snowflakes from white paper and glue them randomly.
  5. Now all that remains is to paint the details: the snowman’s face, the windows.

A wonderful winter panel for the kindergarten is ready.

Winter panel made of semolina or sugar

Another fascinating and interesting option for a picture or panel on the theme of winter is painting with semolina or sugar. Kids will be delighted with this activity. To make such a panel, take colored cardboard, PVA glue, a simple pencil and sugar or semolina.

Draw any winter design on cardboard with a pencil. For children in kindergarten, the simplest one is possible. Then coat all the parts that need to be painted with glue. Now pour semolina or sugar boldly and thickly over the entire picture. You need to leave it like this until the glue dries. Then just lift and pour out all the remaining grains that did not stick.

You can make a panel with a winter theme from plasticine with your child. To do this, you will need thick cardboard as a base, plasticine and a simple pencil.

You need to draw a simple winter story on cardboard. Mom can help here. It could be a landscape, a Christmas tree, a snowman or any animal. And then decorate the picture, but not with paints, but with plasticine, as if rubbing small pieces of the desired color, filling in the details of the picture. A child can handle this well, only under the control of his mother.

A similar panel can be made from thread crumbs. Everything is exactly the same until the moment of coloring. Before coloring, you need to finely chop threads of different colors and place each color in its own container. Then coat each element of the design separately with PVA glue and apply crumbs of thread onto it. This is how we fill in all the elements of the picture.

Crafts from threads

Snowman made of threads

You can try to make a beautiful, openwork and large snowman from threads. What is needed for this:

  • two balloons and polyethylene;
  • white cotton threads;
  • PVA glue;
  • branches for pens;
  • cap and scarf for decoration;
  • buttons for eyes;
  • orange paper to make the nose look like a carrot.

Let's start tinkering:

  1. We inflate the balloons and wrap them in polyethylene.
  2. Wrap the balls randomly with thread coated with PVA glue. The thread must be passed through a tube of glue and wound.
  3. Let the balloons dry, burst the air base, and pull out the balloons from the inside through any gap.
  4. Glue 2 balls together and place the snowman on a stable surface. To do this, you can glue a ring from a strip of thick cardboard.
  5. Now we decorate the snowman with a cap and a scarf, and glue twigs instead of hands.
  6. We glue the buttons in place of the eyes and nose with a carrot from a rolled up paper cone.

In general, you can decorate such a snowman at your own discretion.

Christmas trees made from balls of thread

Now let’s make a cozy, homely and Christmas tree from balls of thread. To do this you need:

  • threads of different colors. It is better to take half-wool or acrylic;
  • thick paper, from which we will make the base of a cone or a purchased polystyrene foam cone;
  • any beads or flowers made from ribbons and tulle for decoration;
  • thick wire;
  • pot or empty low jar;
  • fabric, mesh or tulle for decorating a pot.
  • jute rope.
  • glue in a gun.
  • gypsum.

Let's start creating:

  1. Let's make the base. First, beautifully bend a small piece of wire for the leg of the Christmas tree and wrap it with jute rope.
  2. Dilute the gypsum thickly in a bowl and transfer the required amount into a Christmas tree pot, stick the stem in and wait until it dries.
  3. We decorate the pot with fabric and decorate it with a cone or flower.
  4. Now the Christmas tree itself. We make a cone out of paper or take a ready-made one from polystyrene foam and put it on the leg.
  5. We wind balls from different threads. You can involve children in this activity; they will be happy to help.
  6. Cover the cone tightly with balls, leaving no gaps.
  7. All that remains is to decorate our cozy woolen beauty. Glue on beads, fabric flowers, or whatever you want.

You can make such a Christmas tree without a base from a pot and a stem, just a cone of balls. It's both easier and faster. You can add sisal balls to the balls, if you have them, or make balls from coffee beans by simply pasting over thick lumps of paper colored brown with coffee beans.

Winter New Year wreaths

Such wreaths are classics of the genre. They decorate the room in winter, preparing for the New Year. They can be made from whatever is at hand; they can be used:

  • spruce branches;
  • cones;
  • chestnuts;
  • pieces of paper or cardboard;
  • acorns;
  • bay leaves;
  • dried flowers;
  • coffee beans;
  • paper flowers:
  • flowers made of fabric or ribbons;
  • just branches;
  • New Year's balls of different sizes;
  • the same skeins of thread and so on.

To make a wreath, the main thing is to understand the principle: first we make a base out of cardboard or buy a foam ring from a craft store and decorate the base as you wish. You need to stick the selected elements tightly onto the base, you can combine them, and then decorate them with a ribbon bow on the side and hang them on a string.

This wreath can be sprayed with glitter varnish or gold or silver spray paint.

This craft will also be used in children's games. Make several trees with your child (the tree presented in this master class was made together with a 5-year-old child). They can be used when constructing courtyards with houses and trees, gardens.

In this case, the houses are made from construction kits, and the trees are three-dimensional crafts. Thus, the child will clearly see the need for his work. One tree can be made together with the baby, and the “average” 5-year-old child can make the rest himself.

For work we will need materials:

Sheets of colored cardboard (brown and black)
sheets of colored paper (green and yellow)
a sheet of cardboard (can be drawn or written on, it will be used as a template)
glue stick

Tools:

Graphite pencil (or pen)
scissors

How to make a three-dimensional tree

Glue two sheets of colored cardboard together. In this master class we took cardboard of different colors, this makes the tree more fun. But you can also use two sheets of cardboard of the same color, then the tree trunk will be the same color on all sides. We completely lubricate the wrong sides of the cardboard with glue stick and press them tightly against each other. To prevent the cardboard from warping, you can put it under a press - a stack of books - for a while. This stage can be completed together with your child.

On a sheet of cardboard (can be a boxed one or the crust of a paper folder) draw the outline of a tree. This will be the template. It should be cut out, so it is advisable to draw the branches thick and not very long. It is advisable to leave the making of the template to a full adult.

Fold sheets of colored paper in half. On the wrong side, coat one half with glue. Glue the halves to each other. We also put it under pressure for a while. In the future, we will make leaves for the tree from these sheets, this determines the choice of color.

If the tree is supposed to be autumn, then the paper should be chosen yellow, orange, red. For a winter tree there will not be leaves, but white or blue snowdrifts. The choice is yours. It would be possible to use double-sided paper, but it would not be as thick, i.e., durable. And this is important if the tree will be used in children's play. Gluing sheets can be done together with your child.

We trace the tree template on a cardboard sheet with either a pencil or pen. You should circle the template twice.

You can trace with your child, and leave the cutting to the child himself. In the photo on the left, the part was cut out by a child, on the right - by an adult.

We make leaves. To do this, cut sheets of colored paper into strips. We fold the strip like an accordion. Draw a leaf on one part with a pencil. And it’s a child who cuts it out.

Children usually like it when cutting out one leaf, they get several at once.

We make cuts on both parts-trunks. On one part there is a vertical cut from bottom to middle, on the other - from top to middle. We will leave this stage to an adult.

We insert the parts into each other into the cuts. Now our tree will be stable.

And the last thing is gluing leaves onto tree branches. You can arrange a competition to see who can quickly stick their pile of leaves onto the branches.

Enjoy your creativity and play!

By the way, for very young children mothers can make them for games.

This article will tell you how to make a winter tree from napkins, as well as using techniques such as beading. These types of needlework are quite common nowadays. And doing this type of creativity is a pleasure. Let's try to create a winter tree, a photo of which will help us with this.

Beading

Working with this technique is not easy, but let’s try to figure it out and describe all the work step by step. To make a winter tree from beads, you will need the following materials:

  • wire;
  • white and brown threads;
  • base for wood (you can use a wooden cane);
  • ruler;
  • beads;
  • wire cutters;
  • flower pot;
  • gypsum or alabaster, if the tree is going to be potted.

DIY winter tree: getting started with beads

It is necessary to cut a wire 50-60 cm long. For a three-dimensional tree you will need about 100-120 pieces of cut wire. Branches will be made from them. You don't have to cut them right away, as the sizes may vary. It is more convenient to work from a spool of wire. Only after making the first two branches will you understand how long the remaining pieces are needed.

To make counting easier, it is advisable to collect the pieces of wire in groups of ten and tie them into a loose knot.

Creating branches

This is by far the most time consuming part of the entire process. By the way, if desired, you can use small beads instead of beads. A winter tree must stand in the snow, so, of course, it is better to create it from white sparkling beads. But matte ones will also look good in the final composition.

Further step-by-step instructions are as follows:

  • We string the beads onto a cut piece of wire 50 cm long. It is from 1.5 to 2 cm long. We place it approximately in the middle (the figure under the letter “a”) and return one of the ends of the wire back, missing 1 outer bead. It will be the top of the first branch. We place everything in the same way in the middle of the wire (Figure “b”).
  • Next, we again string beads measuring 1 cm onto one of the ends and return the wire again, passing the first bead (Figure “c”).
  • We put 0.5 cm on both ends of the wire (figure “d”).
  • We repeat the same procedure on the second side of the future branch (Figure “e”).
  • We continue to perform these actions alternately with one end and then with the other until the cut piece of wire runs out. At the same time, we maintain a chess order.

Assembling twigs

Two types of assembly are used. You can take several branches and use white threads to tie them into a bundle. The result will be a low but fluffy tree. Let's look at the step-by-step instructions for the second option:

  • It is necessary to take a rigid wire of a larger diameter and, using white threads, wind the branches in a checkerboard pattern.
  • Attach the first of them parallel to the base, that is, a thick piece of wire. It is necessary to add about 11 branches, and each subsequent one should be 2-3 cm longer than the previous one. This will give the tree a natural and realistic look.
  • The first branch will be the crown of the tree. If you make it 8 cm in size, then the next two should have the same length. The next two need to be increased by 2 cm. This principle must be adhered to until the end of the work.
  • If you have made the required number of branches, but you still have extra pieces of wire with beads, then they can be wound to the trunk in any order.

Wood assembly

You need to take the base and screw the resulting branches to it. You should start with the smallest one. It needs to be attached parallel to the base. The rest should be distributed as they increase, adhering to a checkerboard order.

Then you should dilute plaster or alabaster with water to the consistency of thick sour cream and pour the base of the tree in a flower pot. Everything must be done quickly, because the calcareous mineral substance hardens instantly. The tree should be kept straightened until the structure hardens. Otherwise, it may bend and freeze. It will no longer be possible to fix this. If you decorate the plaster in a pot with cotton wool or glitter, this will complement the design and make it more realistic.

Winter is ready. Try, fantasize, change colors, and you will succeed. If you repeat this technique with brown beads, you can create an autumn tree. Green would make a wonderful summer option.

Technique for creating a paper tree from napkins

Winter trees for miniature scenes are made from plain paper. These are made from stacks of paper snowflakes and are a great addition to a Christmas craft or winter table. For cutting, use regular napkins. This method can be used in any school project for children.

Winter paper trees are made from several layers of simple paper snowflakes; let’s look at the technology in more detail.

Materials used to make snowflakes

We will need: lightweight printer paper, sharp scissors and PVA glue.

The design is so simple that snowflakes can easily adapt to more fancy shapes. Try using floral or glitter wrapping paper or recycled newspaper to create your own style.

The trick to creating these trees is to use a material that folds well. Depending on the size of the tree you want to make, you will only need a few sheets.

With the paper used for the branches, you can change the structure of the tree.

Making a paper tree trunk

To make the trunk miniature, you need to cut a right triangle out of stiff paper. Printer sheets can be used. The height of the tree will be equal to the larger side of the triangle cut out of paper.

Paper snowflakes will be installed along the trunk every 1-2 cm. A cone will be formed from the triangle, which will act as a frame. The longer the base of the triangle, the wider the tree trunk will be at the bottom. If you're making a few crafts for a school project, change the height and width of the trunk to make the forest or grove more interesting.

To assemble the tree trunk, start at the right corner side of your triangle and fold the paper as tightly as possible from the right angle to the cross point on the bottom edge of the triangle. The stiffer you make the barrel, the easier it will be to add snowflakes. When you decide on the location, apply glue to the bottom part (two centimeters wide) and glue it. If you use glue over the entire surface, you will not be able to tighten the barrel by rolling the roll at the top.

The next step is to cut out the blanks for the snowflakes. First you need to prepare a base of paper squares to get six- and twelve-pointed bases. You will have to make a winter tree with your own hands by learning how to cut out snowflakes.

Dimensions and quantity

How do you determine the size of snowflakes needed for a particular tree? First you need to figure out where the branches will start and how wide they will be. It is necessary to measure the distance from the mark to the top of the barrel. Every 1-2 cm, depending on the desired volume of the tree, paper branches will be placed. The top snowflake is usually 2-3 cm in diameter. For a tree, on average, six to eight snowflakes are used, cut from two sheets of A4 printing paper.

The estimated dimensions of a series of squares can be as follows: from 5 to 1.5 cm. The difference between them should be from 1 to 0.5 cm. It is important to determine the width of the base snowflake, and from there follow the path of reducing the size. It is important to make sure that the snowflake blanks are square in shape. To do this, you need to fold them in four and trim off the excess after the second fold.

Blanks for snowflakes

For blanks, you can use the standard four folds, but then the tree will not look round, as it will with a twelve- or six-pointed star. To achieve this, you need to fold a square of paper into a triangle and make sure there is a slight crease to mark the center line of the base of the triangle with a dot.

Next, you need to fold one edge up at a point at an angle of 30 degrees, and the second down so that the free side coincides with the line of the previous fold. The two formed corners, folded in the center, form a blank for a six-pointed star.

It is necessary to trim the edges of the folds to make a rounded shape for the future snowflake. The blank is ready for cutting out the design.

Final stage

How to cut a patterned snowflake for a miniature winter tree? In the middle of the workpiece you need to make a hole for the barrel. After which you can experiment, choose different models of snowflakes that are suitable for the chosen style of wood. They don't have to be the same.

You should start assembling the tree with the largest one, not forgetting to glue it in the right places. From the top of the tree it should be carefully moved down the trunk, turning slightly. If desired, you can curl the ends of the snowflake using a ruler. Although they also look great without this procedure.

The paper winter tree is ready. Create your own options and participate in school competitions.
